Art with Mrs. Manje

On December 2, 2008, my class had art. My teacher, Mrs. Manje, said we were going to draw 2 pictures. I got excited at the idea, because I love to draw.

When I had finished drawing, Mrs. M. (Manje), came up to me and said, " What an amazing drawing, Brandon!" Then she held it up to the whole class. She asked me if she could keep it and if she could, I could have a copy of it. I said yes. So she put it in her bag.

This week she gave me a note: "Dear Brandon, This is a wonderful drawing. When I saw it I knew it was perfect for the teachers choice art show. Each art teacher gets to choose 2 works for the show . Your original work will travel [through the school system] for three years. - Mrs. Manje"

J is for Jellyfish

I is for Indian Rhino

The Indian Rhinoceros is a grazer. They do not have very keen eyesight. It will do anything to keep away predators. Including knocking you in a tree with its horn. To learn more about rhinos, click HERE.

H is for Hummingbird

All though they are small in size, there is a huge number of them. There are at least three hundred different kinds of hummingbirds.These tiny birds also have big appitiates, they will eat up to fifty berries a day, sometimes more. To learn more about hummingbirds, click HERE.

HELP!

Me and my family are at the Petrified Forest Museum visiting my Grammie and Grampa K. There were dino bones and everything! I even found a platform with a woolly mammoth's tusk. And I also found a big skeleton of a dinosaur with big sharp - AAAAAAAHHHHH! Help us!

G is for Gecko
